Radio Radicale – Radical Nonviolent News – hosted a conversation with Claudio Radaelli on the Right to Know and the upcoming hearing at the Parliamentery Assembly of the Council of Europe.

On December 3rd Claudio Radaelli will be among the three experts to speak at the hearing of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. The hearing revolves around the initiative of the Nonviolent Radical Party Transnational Party that Senator Roberto Rampi has tabled in the Committee on Culture, Science, Education and Media. Senator Rampi led the works for the preparation of the report ‘The Right to Know: Existing Standards, Needs, Opportunities & Recommendations’ prepared by Dr. Helen Darbshire, Executive Director of Access Info Europe.

Claudio Radaelli will address the Right to Know looking at the core issues of Protego. Those are in particular the rule-making tools that have an impact on access to information and evidence such as Consultation, Impact Assessment, Evaluation and Risk Assessment as well as those instruments for strengthening the rule of law such as the Ombudsman and Judicial Review.
